Here’s how it works

  1. Fill out the form below these steps. This is where you say everything wrong with your bike. Then we arrange a pickup time.

2. We swing by your home to pick up your bike.

3. Your bike comes back to our workshop where I’ll clean your frame, pump up your tires, check the brakes and shifting, and complete whatever else is needed to get you back out there riding safely!

4. As soon as your bike is ready, I’ll text you (or however you would prefer to be contacted) to set up a drop off time.

$30: Base repairs disinfect (to prevent potential viral spread) and clean frame, inflate tires, adjust brakes and gears, and ensure all bolts are tight.

$10: patching a flat tire.

$25: removal and cleaning of shifting components. If you’re having shifting problems, this is the option for you.

$10 to remove grease headset (often why a bike is creaking).

Other repairs available price negotiable. Cash, check, or Venmo.

I am happy to order a part for you at your expense plus a $5 installation fee.

We only pickup in Charlottesville and Albemarle county.

About Me

My name is Jonas Collins. I’m a rising Junior at Albemarle High School. Yeah I’m a teenager. Nevertheless, I have ten years of experience riding and maintaining bikes. I race for the Albemarle mountain bike team. I also worked at Blue Ridge Cyclery last summer as a bike builder and mechanic. I have used the knowledge I gained working there to maintain my own bikes with care. Your bike will be treated with the same attention.

If you have any questions about my expertise, feel free to call or text me at 434-806-0813 or email at

With School out for the year, I have the time to quickly and reliably service your bike.

A Word About COVID-19

I am fully aware of the pandemic happening. I understand and respect your concern of interacting with someone outside of your quarantine. However, I truly believe that biking can be a very powerful tool in getting us through tough times as well as boosting your immune system which we really need right now. Going to a shop isn’t currently a safe option as it puts us and others at risk by exposing us to numerous other people.

What cyclefix allows for is the least amount of interaction possible. You can stay home and get your bike fixed at the same time. Your safety is my priority and I will keep my distance. I will disinfect your bike throughout the repair process as well as practice preventative measures.

Don’t get cabin fever, get out there and ride!
